No Sailfish, but...Blue Marlin OK?

Hi Char,   I just wanted to share that we were fortunate to successfully catch and release a 500+ LB Blue Marlin on Sunday.  We were in 200 feet of water 7 miles NE of the St. Lucie Inlet fishing with 20LB test and 40LB leader.  We spent two hours on the fish, had the leader 6 times and decided to release her before she was too beat up to survive.  We had over fifteen series of jumps likely totaling over 60 gray hounding jumps.  She was likely eating bonito but made the mistake of eating one of our small ballyhoo behind the dredge.  The angler was our guest, Dan Markow, his first Marlin ever, I was on the controls and Tommy ran the cockpit perfectly.  Lots of pictures, but on an iphone.  I still haven’t gotten over it….
