The Flotilla to Grand Cay at Rosie's Place was a blast. We had 7 boats and 26 folks join us for the run over and back. While we went over as just Club Members we came back as 26 new friends.
We ran over on Thursday, June 25th in perfect flat seas and the return on Monday the 29th was also flat. The trolling was very slow but, the deep dropping and bottom fishing was as good as always.
We had two great dock side cookouts that everyone pitched in for. Friday's dockside was a terrific fish fry using the fish caught that day. We all ate our fill and there was plenty to spare. Saturday’s dockside was a lobster and stone crab feast that was out of this world!

The grand finale for many of us was a great anchoring out, hot dog cook out, lobster salad, relaxing afternoon on Double Breasted Cay on Sunday. The water was picture perfect. Several Rays and other various fish strolled in and out of our party providing some nice photo’s and fun. Everyone who participated agreed the trip was a great success.
The only complaint was it had been way too long since the last one which sparked talks of going to Old Bahama Bay in August! Stay tuned.....
